Took my dog to the Smokies for a camping/photography trip. Turned out to be more dog related than photo related, but we had a good time. Stayed at Cades Cove and drove the loop a few times; lots of bear, deer and turkeys, not many flowers.

 I've been thinking on and off about selling my D200 now that I have a D700, but make have to rethink that since my best bear photos were with the D200 even in difficult lighting conditions. (the 1st is a D200 shot, the 2nd a D700 shot, both of the same bear and both with the same 80-400mm VR lens.

And, of course, I had to try some Cades Cove sunrise shots.

I may have to head up for another round next week if the weather is good.
