D'oh, forgot to follow up on the Smokies trip. Alas very few rhodo blooms, seems most haven't really started yet. Had a great time, though, and explored parts of the park that I will have to check out when I go back in July, I think there will be some blooms then. Here's a shot of the West Fork of the Pigeon River with some pink azaleas and a couple from Mingus Mill. I need to visit the mill in the fall when the trees have some color, but I expect I'll be back in Utah then and will miss it this year.
